For almost a decade, Chris Evans (The Gray Man) portrayed as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As Captain America, Evans is the one savior. In the new Apple TV+ action rom-com GhostedEvans’ character is the one that needs saving.
Evans stars as Cole Riggan, a kind and friendly man who is in a relationship with Sadie (It’s blonde Ana de Armas). After a romantic date, Cole falls in love with Sadie and believes she is “the one.” However, Sadie ghosts Cole, failing to respond to his texts. Wanting to continue the relationship, Cole travels to London to surprise Sadie with a romantic gesture.
Upon arrival, Cole is kidnapped by a group of criminals. Before they can torture Cole, Sadie shoots the men and saves Cole’s life. Actually, Sadie is a secret agent working for the CIA. To stay alive, Sadie must team up with Cole for an “international adventure to save the world.”
Evans and de Armas reunited after co-starring together in Netflix’s The Gray Man and Knives Out. The supporting cast features Adrien Brody (The French Dispatch), Tim Blake Nelson (Pinocchio), Mike Moh (Inhumane), Amy Sedaris (The Mandalorian), and Tate Donovan (Respect).
Ghosted directed by Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman) and was written by the team of Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Chris McKenna, and Erik Sommers. Reese and Wernick are best known for their collaborations on Deadpool, Deadpool 2and Spider head. McKenna and Sommer collaborated on Tom Holland’s Spider-Mantrilogy, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
