After a series of iPhone 15 leaks earlier this week showing a familiar design and display, followed by a similar rendering of the iPhone 15 Plus, the latest leak may be the most interesting of all: the exclusive colors for 2023.
According to 9to5Mac, the hot new color for this year’s iPhone 15 Pro will be dark red with the hex color #410D0D. As you can see above, the shade is much darker than Apple’s Product RED color over the years and as a contrast to the “sunset” color previously rumored for the iPhone 13.
iPhone Pro models have exclusive annual colors since the model’s arrival in 2019:
- iPhone 14 Pro: Deep Purple
- iPhone 13 Pro: Blue Sierra
- iPhone 12 Pro: Pacific blue
- iPhone 11 Pro: Midnight Green
It is unclear if this color will be available on the rumored iPhone 15 Ultra, which is reported to have a new titanium body like the Apple Watch Ultra. While recent leaks have spotted the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro, we have yet to see any images for the iPhone 15 Ultra, which will reportedly replace the iPhone Pro Max at the top of the line. line.
9to5Mac also claims that Apple is testing two new colors for the standard iPhone 15: pink and light blue. Apple has offered a shade of blue for the standard iPhone for the past few years, but the pictured shade is more reminiscent of the iPhone 5c, Apple’s low-end plastic phone with a variety of bold colors.
The source of 9to5Mac warns that the color details described are from the early stages of development and may change.
