In his full review, Insider Entertainment Reporter Eammon Jacobs applauded the film’s impressive style, but said “it begins to buckle under the weight of its own ambition.”
Despite the mixed reception, “Babylon” earned several awards and nominations. It’s up for three Oscars at the 2023 Academy Awards, including best production design, best costume design, and best score.
