Apple on Monday released a new trailer for season 3 of its award-winning series Ted Lasso. It’s been nearly two years since last season on Ted Lasso hit Apple TV Plus. This leaves us with a bit of a bummer cliffhanger: The meek but sweet Nate is pushed to the brink, and the heartless, silver-haired Nate is born, followed by a real-world soccer coach. . At the end of season 2, he got a place as the head coach of West Ham United.
He faces off against former partner Jason Sudeikis’ kind and compassionate Ted Lasso. At the end of season 2, the former American college football coach saw English soccer team AFC Richmond secure promotion to the Premier League.
Season 3 will see “newly promoted AFC Richmond face ridicule as media predictions widely place them as bottom of the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the ‘wonderful kid,’ working for Rupert (Anthony Head ) at West Ham United,” according to Apple’s official description.
It continues: “Due to Nate’s controversial departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, along with Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, as Ted (Jason Sudeikis) faces the pressures at work, she continues to wrestle with her own personal issues at home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on beating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigating her own PR agency boss .Things seem to be falling apart on and off the pitch, but Team Si Lasso is ready to give it their best shot.
Ted Lasso was a pandemic hit when it premiered in 2020, becoming the most nominated first season in Emmy history. Season 2 saw the episodes run a bit and a transition from strict comedy to comedy-drama.
It’s season 3 already it is said that the show is last. Among the cast are Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Juno Temple and Jodi Balfour.
This third season of Ted Lasso premieres on Apple TV Plus on March 15, with new episodes dropping weekly. It consists of 12 episodes.
